Cancelation Charges

Once a booking is confirmed via phone, text or email. A cancelation charge of £55.00 will be applied should the allocated engineer:

1.  Not be able to access the property or site.

2.  The booking is cancelled within 6 hours of the appointment. 

Payment Method

1.  Payment is only accepted via bank transfer on receipt of invoice. 

2.  Cheques will only be accepted in limited circumstances. This must be agreed prior to testing. 

Payment Terms

1.  15 calendar days from invoice issue.

2.  30 calendar days will be considered, but must be agreed by all parties prior to testing.

Late Payment

Unless agreed, payment is due 15 calendar days from invoice issue. Late payment will be requested via email reminder, IG PAT Testing will also attempt to contact the client via phone to ascertain any payment issues. 

In order to recover payment, the following will apply:

1. Formal request for payment recovery via email.

2.  Due to the time associated with recovery of a late payment, £50.00 will be added to the outstanding bill.  

3.  Statutory interest at 8% + BofE base rate (Interest on a late commercial debits Act 1998) will be applied to the owed balance and backdated to day 30 of the outstanding bill. Interest is charged daily. 

4. Should payment not be received within 7 days of Request for Payment - A Court Claim will be registered. 

IT and Sensitive Equipment

1.  IG PAT will only conduct a visual inspection of server equipment.

2.  IT equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners etc) are required to be closed down for PAT. It is the clients responsibility to ensure the engineer is aware of any IT that should not be shut down. 

3.  IG PAT Testing will not test medical equipment which falls outside the scope of PAT.
